Causes: Domestic Violence, Family Violence Shelters, Homeless & Housing
Mission: The ultimate purpose of branches shall be the elimination of domestic violence and the assistance of domestic violence victims in the areas of cabell, lincoln, mason, putnam and wayne county. Pursuant to this goal, the activities of branches shall include, but not be limited to, provision of long and short-term shelter services, educational programs, legislative reform, and technical assistance to pertinent social service agencies or other organizations or persons within the state of west virginia.
Programs: Shelter and crisis counseling provided to families who are the victims of domestic violence. Community education also provided to increase public awareness of domestic violence.
