Causes: Boys & Girls Clubs, Children & Youth
Mission: The mission of the boys & girls clubs of the lewis clark valley is: to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens
Programs: Boys & girls clubs of the lewis clark valley builds character through everyday leadership and guidance in behavior and attitude. Young people of all nationalities, races and creeds join together in wholesome recreation and companionship. Trained professional staff provide positive adult mentors and role models. Nationally recognized programs help young people succeed in school, stay healthy, learn important life skills, pursue interest in arts and sports, and explore vocational choices. Most importantly, the organization shows youngsters that someone cares and wants them to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. During the fiscal year, the clubs served 3,620 members from 2,646 households, of which 43% participate in free & reduced lunch programs, 25% come from households with income less than $30,000 and 30% come from households with a single parent.
