Mission: Providing used textbooks to african schools and libraries
Programs: The organization has developed relationships with communities and schools in africa to understand their specific book needs. The organization has then gathered used books from us schools and libraries, prepared and shipped the appropriate subjects, titles and quantities of used books to those specific african destinations at no cost to the recipients. 10 schools and libraries were shipped 18,749 books during 2014. In addition, several local charities received library books that were in good condition, but did not meet the needs of the african schools. - 164 books were donated locally
