Causes: Education, Ethnic & Immigrant Centers, Federated Giving Programs, Human Services, Immigration, Philanthropy, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid
Mission: BQEF's mission is to strengthen ties between Andean Quakers and those of North America and Europe through programs that: * enhance the educational opportunities of Andean Friends * nurture their service work * strengthen their schools, and * bring this work to the attention of Friends in North America and Europe.
Target demographics: post-secondary students to graduate
Direct beneficiaries per year: 37 Bolivian Students
Geographic areas served: the Bolivian Altiplano, and elsewhere
Programs: Higher education scholarships for young indigenous Bolivians, including program development and delivery costs. 250 young Bolivian scholars have directly benefited so far.
