Bodine Home and School Association had done a remarkable job in procuring funds and encouraging volunteerism at our school. The students are able to see exactly what their donations have added to our school. Because of the visibility of Bodine HSA 's successes, (new track, lighted sign, brick planter around the sign, new outdoor basketball goals) the students are eager to work toward the next project, new playground "big toy". The families in the neighborhood are also now using the track and basketball goals outside of school hours and seem to be taking pride and ownership in our school grounds. We hope these projects will instill in our school community members a deeper connection to our school and their children's education.
Bodine HSA is a nonprofit started by parents and teachers who have a love for the students/families of Bodine Elementary school. The need is GREAT but the helpers are FEW!! Everyone is welcomed to join as a member of HSA and help to raise money for the items that benefit the WHOLE school and help to raise the students' levels of PRIDE about being a BODINE BOBCAT!!!
