Programs: Low cost boarding for rescues - due to the over-population of abandoned, neglected, and/or abused animals in our society today, a low cost boarding is detrimental to providing alternative care and rehabilitation for those unable to be fostered in your normal american household due to severity of abuse and neglect. In 2017, we were able to assist 511 abandoned, neglected and abused dogs from the gulf coast area, with 419 being our own rescues along with servicing 92 other dogs by boarding, rehabilitating, socializing, training, and providing medical needs. It is imperative that each of the rescued dogs go through the proper care, training and rehabilitation needed to prepare them for a future life with a loving families. Each dog is assessed and matched with a compatible play mates to help with socialization. They graduate up to supervised group play with other dogs. Each dogs private room and belongings are cleaned, sanitized and maintained multiple times a day to insure a healthy safe loving environment.

Each dogs private room and belongings are cleaned, sanitized and maintained multiple times a day to insure a healthy safe loving environment. In 2017, 419 of our rescues were adopted into amazing homes throughout the united states and canada. Much time and care is placed in the adoption process in finding the perfect fit for both the dog and its future family for a lifelong relationship. Prior to adoption, all rescues are spay and/or neutered, fully vetted, heart worm negative, on monthly preventatives, and micro-chipped. Each dog adopted outside of texas, fly via united petsafe to their new homes or if going to the state of colorado we have ground transport for b4raw.
micro-chipping - because 1 in 3 pets go missing during its lifetime without proper id, 90% never returning home, b4raw offered low cost micro-chipping clinics at various locations throughout the gulf coast area. B4raw's choice of micro-chips included free registration for life with no yearly fees. With a microchip each pet was enrolled in a national pet registry, giving the pet owner's lost pet the best chance for a happy homecoming. Micro-chipping promotes responsible pet ownership and creates a bond between the pet owner and the pet. In 2017, b4raw micro-chipped 720 pets taking each opportunity to educate pet owners about animal welfare, including routine vaccinations, importance of monthly flea, tick and heart worm preventatives and the importance of spaying and neutering their pets.
