Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Eye Diseases, Blindness & Vision Impairments, Health
Mission: Is to enrich the quality of life for visually impaired and blind individuals ensuring their success in a rapidly evolving world and providing the opportunity for independence.
Results: We are a small team of individuals working hard to deliver results. There is no payroll and 100% of donations have gone to overhead and helping those in the blind and visually impaired community. Almost all of the overhead has been funded by those working on the board of directors and volunteers. We are VERY PROUD to announce that our first quarterly distribution of technology will begin with the third quarter of 2017 and the impact and effect will be based upon the applications we receive. If you (or someone you know) needs a specific piece of technology that will help drastically increase that individual's independence or employability, we urge you (or that someone you know) to send an e-mail to Connect@BlinkToday.org. Target demographics: Individuals in the blind and visually impaired community
Direct beneficiaries per year: Our first quarterly distribution of technology and other services will begin in the 3rd quarter of 2017!
Geographic areas served: Brooklyn, NY - Northeast Ohio - Central Florida
Programs: The distribution of technology to aid in job advancement, placement, and increased independence through our technology distribution program. We also aim to help make technology more accessible by providing user-experience consultation services and solutions to small, medium, and large companies and corporations.
