Blind Lives Matter is a foundation that is making efforts to change lives & lifestyles of many who are living with blindness. I recommend they be rated as a top great non-profit. I feel that their mission as a whole represents a great cause, and aligns with there efforts to make a difference. I have made a donation to this organization and I forsee continued donations of support. With every small step we can all make a difference and every support can have a great impact.

According to Walhof (1996), without realizing what they are doing, blind children often learn to depend on sighted people more than they need to or should (para, 21.). Kids who have vision problems will get assistance from their parents, doctors, and teachers. Sight is convenient and many blind individuals rely on sighted people for certain things. However, being too dependent upon someone else's sight deprives the child of skill and confidence, to give them the independence they need, so they can accomplish what they want to accomplish.

The Blind Lives Matter Foundation is dedicated to educating all ages of people that are visually impaired and who are not visually impaired through community enrichment. Many blind individuals have gone on to do amazing things in many different fields, including music, the arts, and also sports. There are no limits!

The Blind Lives Matter Foundation would like to empower the blind and visually impaired with the ability to have all resources needed gathered on one website.

Your support is very important!

With my donation to The Blind Lives Matter Foundation I know that it goes a long way towards creating a community that is aware of the organization's cause, and encourages visually impaired individuals letting them know that there are people who care and would like to help enrich their lives.

As a volunteer and on behalf of ‘The Blind Lives Matter Foundation". Ours is an organization that is determined to educate everyone how important it is to know that people with impairment have the same rights, freedom, responsibilities, and quality of life as people who are fully sighted.

Currently the organization is in the works for developing many different programs and events to help the visually impaired such as an in-home exercise program, medical supply program, luncheon, and other events.

Now, to make these programs and events a true success, we need to raise funds so that more and more visually impaired individuals can be helped.

So, we are seeking your financial support.

Please donate any amount you think is right. Donations over $20 will receive a FREE BLINDLIVESMATTER Foundation T-shirt. All sizes available (small, medium, large, x-large, and 2xl)

Thank you for your support.

The Blind Lives Matter Foundation is constantly developing programs to help the visually impaired. To help empower individuals who are visually impaired and provide education and an opportunity to have a better quality of life, the Blind Lives Matter Foundation is a non-profit that has been developed to make available resources needed gathered on one website. It has been a pleasure to volunteer my time with them, and now I am a lot more educated on how wide a range between individuals who are fully sighted and completely blind.
