Mission: The Black Patriots Foundation was founded in 1985 and is dedicated, through education, to present an accurate history of the vital role African Americans played during the American Revolution and the founding of our nation. To honor the more than 5000 free men, freed men and slaves, including women and children, a memorial will be built on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
