Bissell Pet Foundation

After my husband passed in March of 2022 I went to the Humane Society because my BFF dog passed in 2021 and I needed a buddy I'm a senior and I went to the Humane Society and didn't know about Bissell Foundation I was so blessed that day I ended up with a military therapy dog and he was so well-trained I was blessed because I usually buy my dogs but I went to go get one for the first time and Bissell Foundation ran a program I was out of money because I spent everything for the funeral and you know what I am so blessed and thankful for Bissell he had his shots he had a microchip they gave me food for my dog they gave me a collar and all kind of toys and everything I was so blessed and I'm thankful for Bissell because I was able to go home with a therapy dog just to help me get through my storms of 38 years of marriage after my husband passed away in Hospice at home and I took care of him . He passed in my arms 45 lbs. and it's helped me tremendously and I've gotten through this I am blessed and I thank God for Bissell because there's so many people like myself who need a fur buddy to help them through their storm of life. like my mom I just lost my dad 2 months ago so I shared my dog with her in hospice at home. There are a lot of elderly who need a pet and Bissell I thank you I hope more Foundation programs you touch like Humane Societies so that people like us who are elderly and even disabled which I am to be able to get a companion like a fur best friend and I am brain injury and I thank God for a my BFF . He wakes me up every day and he helps me get motivated every morning and when I'm down he's right there by my side and when my dad had dementia before he passed my dog was there for him and watched over him my dad had good days my dog was right there and when my dad had bad days my dog was right there for him because I shared my dog with my dad and mom thank you bissell for everything.
