Nearly one million pages are preserved in our hardcopy library.
The research provided by Bishop Accountability (BA). Their organization has been instrumental in the protection of children from sexual abuse. The provide documentation of known abusers that is verified by court documents or newspapers. They also provide free access to public documents released by the courts.
The research and documentation of BA has opened to public view the widespread child sex abuse within the Catholic Church exposing many within the church hierarchy who covered up abuse. In many cases the cover up extended to actual complicity in the abuse of many other children.
Their work documents the history of the sexual abuse of children within the Church over many decades. BA acts, defacto, as the historian for the movement of survivors of child sex abuse by clergy.
