Mission: The primary exempt purpose of the organization is education in the specialized area of bioethics.
Programs: The bioethics network of ohio (beno) is a non-affiliated, non-profit organization founded to provide information, promote knowledge and improve practice among persons concerned with bioethics. The network is comprised of individuals and institutions. It promotes collaboration and communication among its members on bioethical issues, and serves as an educational resource for both professionals and the public. Serving ohio as an educational resource in healthcare ethics, beno promotes the awareness of bioethics through their educational grant funding program. In order to educate and provide information concerning elder care, aids, organ donation, terminal care, and medical ethics, bioethics network of ohio, inc. Held one statewide educational conference,and provided seminars of education for individuals to improve their competencies for ethics consultation.
