Mission: Bike Maryland's mission is to encourage and promote bicycling, increase safety, improve conditions, and provide a voice for bicyclists in Maryland.
Results: We worked to pass 6 pro-bike bills in 2010 and 2011 will benefit many bicyclists too! Bike Ambassador program is being developed and a Bike Friendly Maryland program has been launched.
Target demographics: Everyone throughout Maryland.

BikeMD does great work advocating and teaching safe bicycling throughout the state of Maryland. The staff is deeply dedicated to the mission and works collaboratively with a wide range of constituents to promote safe cycling for people of all ages.
This organization works tirelessly to make Maryland a better place to bike! I've volunteered at their main fundraiser for 4 years and I'm amazed at how much their small staff of one person and typically one consultant accomplish!
