Causes: Sports, Swimming & Other Water Recreation
Mission: Big valley water polo academy provides young athletes with the opportunity to be succesful both in the sport of water polo and in life. Through training and competition, athletes will learn both athletic skill and life lessons. Big valley water polo academy will strive to ensure that all athletes will be assured the same attention regardless of age and skill level and that all athletes are given the opportunity to reach their goals.
Programs: The big valley water polo academy continued to grow in both number of athletes and programs offered. Our athletes and teams continue to qualify for the annual national championships in the san jose bay area. In order to support local programs, our academy utilizes pools throughout the san joaquin area. We train at st. Mary's high school and delta college pools. We host numerous tournaments and other competitions using the pools at the university of the pacific, stagg high school, lincoln high school, bear creek high school, and tokay high school. We continued with our annual clinic series that brings highly-skilled coaches and players to provide elite-level clinics for our members, interested athletes, and coaches from our area.
