Mission: To provide additional financial and other material support for foster and dependent youth receiving the services of the alameda county independent living skills program to better equip them for independent living after leaving care, and to do any other lawful acts, matters, and things necessary, useful, suitable proper or convenient for the furtherance or accomplishment of the above-described purposes of this corporation.

Programs: Aftercare program & financial assistance: program seeks to help youth make a seamless transition from dependency/wardship to young adulthood by connecting them with programs that provide aftercare services in casework, housing, employment, higher education, and healthcare support.

thp housing: provide assistance in moving emancipated youths into independent housing (including section 8 placements)including move-in support, application assistance, assistance with deposits, providing furniture & furnishings. Maintain low income housing lists, match youth with people in the community who have rooms to rent, and provide advise, referrals, and counsel on other housing options such as job corp. , americorp, california conservation corp, and military.
