I donated to an organization that Better World manages and instead of giving the $100 I thought I gave I gave $500 in error plus the $35 fee to cover cost. I immediately advised as to what happened and let them know I reversed that charge to give $100 instead of $500… better world disputed my reversal of the fees sent a letter to the bank saying it was a legitimate charge. They clearly knew they were supposed to get $100 not $500…. If the bank already gave me the money back why would they dispute it? It was a mistake and they knew this and still filed a dispute to get money back that didn’t belong to them. At this point I’m not going back and forth… I’m going to let them keep the money at this point. Proceed with caution and be sure you pay attention before hitting the send button…
