Life Changing Events Elsie & Grace Last year we facilitated a life changing event for Grace, a 17 year old Holocaust denier, to meet with Elsie, a 97 year old Holocaust survivor. Elsie spent 6 months in Auschwitz and another 4 months in Ravensbruck concentration camp where she was rescued on April 24th, 1945 by the White Buses. After 3 hours around Elsie’s kitchen table Grace realized she had been misinformed. Elsie and Grace are now close friends and stay connected through letters, over the phone and face to face visits. Helga & Ursula & Margit Helga, an 89 year old Holocaust survivor from our area, was reconnected with her long lost host family in Sweden where she recovered after being held captive at Bergen Belsen concentration camp Helga travelled to Stockholm last June where she met her Swedish "sisters" face to face for the first time since 1946. It was an incredible reunion that we are proud to be a part of.
