Residents take part in house cleaning, laundry, and cooking, all as a model for practical living experience. The ultimate goal is to assist the adolescent in transitioning toward independent living or to return to their home community able to manage their issues in a responsible manner.
partial hospitalization programs (php) are offered for children and youth ages 5-18. These programs offer a safe, structured environment while enabling the child/youth to return home at night and maintain important family and community relationships. Services includes individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Acute partial hospitalization: a short-term, 15 day stabilization program that allows for diagnostic evaluation of a child's needs ages 5-11. the erie county independent living program (ecilp) provides services to youth 14-21 from erie county. The ecilp assists youth transitioning from placement to independent living with the skills and resources necessary to make them productive members of society. More specifically, the erie county independent program helps youth accomplish goals with employment, enrollment in educational or vocational training, and maintaining a stable place of residence after discharge.
