Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Mental Health, Protestant, Religion, Substance Abuse Treatment
Mission: Bethel's mission is to teach those bound by addictions the good news of Jesus Christ so that they may be set free from the bondage of sin in this life and experience eternal salvation through faith in the work of the cross of Christ.
Results: Since 1948 we have seen thousands of changed lives & restored relationships. many are now serving in they community, local churches. Some have even started other ministries to help in recovery. Some are pastors and missionaries!
Target demographics: Men & Women to break the chains of addiction
Direct beneficiaries per year: a total of 400 men & women.
Geographic areas served: We are in Lenoir, NC but help people from all over the US and have had students from other countries.
Programs: At both men's & women's campus we have classes, one-on-one discipleship counseling, structure , discipline, exercise and nutritional food.
