Mission: The coalition is a group of representatives of local community and government agencies whose goal is to eliminate homelessness in berks county through coordinated strategies including advocacy, education and assistance.
Programs: Conduit agency for coordinating federal,state and local grant monies to various local non-profit agencies providing specific services to the homeless of berks county. In addition, the organization manages several low income properties, a family shelter, the local homeless management information system, street outreach, as well as other activities that are part of the collaborative effort of dozens of nonprofits, governmental agencies, and other berks county organizations.
