Causes: Domestic Fraternal Societies
Mission: To inculate the principles of charity, justice, brotherly love and fidelity; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members; to quicken the spirit of american patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization, and to promote for its government. Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, meet the needs of today's veterans, and improve the quality of life. The lodge holds many dinners and festivals throughout the year to raise funds for local charities. These events include spaghetti dinners, memorial ceremonies, children's christmas parties, charity balls, and memorial day bbq. The lodge also collects proceeds from a bell jar activity and passes the majority of proceeds to charities. For the fiscal year ended march 31, 2018 13,183 of proceeds from the bell jar,building rentals, and other fundraising effors was given out to local charities. The lodge also applies to the dist
