Mission: The mission of the Bella Luce School is to provide for equitable education, early intervention, language support, and resource services to deaf and hard-of-hearing children and their families.

Programs: Our objectives relate to support of children, families, and our community, including fellow agencies. For our children, Bella Luce School seeks to improve language and communication development, support interaction which promotes bonding and engagement within the family, and to address the unique audiological and educational targets of deaf and hard-of-hearing infants in accordance with the 1-3-6 plan of the Early Hearing, Detection, and Intervention in which infants are screened by 1 month of age, identified by 3 months of age, and begin early intervention services by 6 months of age. For our families, Bella Luce School seeks to improve knowledge of communication options, sense of support in navigating language and communication choices, cultural awareness related to language and community selection, familiarity with child-specific audiological information, skill in handling audiology and hearing technology, follow-up in audiological and language services, assistance in advocating for child and family rights related to hearing loss, and access to resources and information. For our community, Bella Luce School seeks to serve as a partner and collaborator in the provision of services and information, networking to share in the care of children and families in a comprehensive and complimentary way, and bringing awareness and connectedness among individuals and the fellow agencies who serve them.
