Mission: To provide behavioral intervention program services, and alternative educational programs to children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Programs: Bha academy - a private academic school licensed through the pennsylvania department of education. We provide local public school districts with an innovative alternative to after-school placements, district housed alternative education programs, and costly special education programs. We also relieve those districts of the supervision, regulatory enforcement, and most importantly financial and educational liability associated with alternative education placements including act 48 providers. The academy offers educational services to 23 school districts in 6 counties and educational services beyond those available at the home district. It served 287 students and offered online educational services to 13 districts as alternative to physical attendance at home district. 318 students were served. Offer job training to high school students to prepare for entering workforce after graduation. 126 students were served.
provider 50 - served over 95 children in their home and community to prevent a residential mental health placement. 95% of the children served were able to avoid a more restrictive placement.
partial hospitalization - the acute care partial hospitalization program is a year round program. Our program is designed to offer preventative and treatment services to children and adolescents with moderate to severe dysfunctional behavior. Program hours are 8 am to 2 pm. As an acute care facility the typical length of stay is 60 treatment days. Programming is provided according to a goal specific individualized treatment plan that is approved and regularly reviewed by the treatment team. The program served over 37 children in 2 locations. Expanded services to include therapeutic services to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Provided services to 27 children.
