Mission: The foundation's purpose is to inform and educate the public about unique ecosystems, habitats and indigenous communities around the world and their need for protection and preservation.
Programs: Beau monde image foundation released its 1 hour dvd program 2011 entitled "islands of life" with the bahamas national trust. This was enthusiastically received by the public, as it showed the story of conservation in the bahamaswith many stunning scenes both aerials of the islands, underwater cinematography,and eloquent statements from bahamians. It was featured in several international film festivals, winning awards such as the fort lauderdale international film festival, the bahamas international film festival, the cinema verde environmental film festival. Beau monde is making progress on the productions of "this is our land", "paying the price for peace" and "accidental activist". The goal is to complete two of these productions in 2014. "this is our land" is about the tongass national forest in southeast alaska, its importance as the largest temperate rain forest in the world. It features the tlingit indian tribes as its residents since 10,000 years, the wealth of its wildlife including deer, bear, lynx, wolf, marten, and all 5 species of salmon in its streams. The documentary "accidental activist" documents the efforts of environmental activist dr. Riki ott and her efforts to bring the long term impact of oil spills in the gulf coast and elsewhere in america to the level of national awareness. "paying the price for peace" is a feature documentary that presents the story of a war veteran and peace activist named s brian willson and his efforts with other veterans to demonstrate that peace efforts must prevail over the prevalence of war. The environmental impacts of war are among the most severe on the planet.
