Hadley is a 2-year-old that was diagnosed with Sturge Weber Syndrome with bilateral involvement resulting in prolonged seizures. Even though she is regulating her epilepsy with doctor’s help, she continues to have seizures sporadically at which time she loses skills developed and has to regain. More recently, she was additionally diagnosed with glaucoma. She is a loving and spirited little girl that is working hard to catch up with developmental skills. She has difficulty with muscle control and motor skills. I found Be an Angel Foundation when I was desperate for help to cover what insurance would not of her bath chair and wheel chair. The relationship that has grown from this has been unbreakable. Be an Angel Foundation has been professional, personal, and blown me away with the kindness that every person has shown that has been associated with this foundation. The bath chair allows Hadley to sit safely and secure while bathing. The wheelchair allows Hadley to be able to be mobile for long distances and will help when she starts school next year. It will also aid when she loses her mobility skills after a prolonged seizure. Life before her chairs was difficult. Bath time was not enjoyable. but rather scary for her safety. Going out in public was too overwhelming and not worth the possibility of a meltdown from sensory overload. We have discovered freedom and the ability to allow Hadley to experience typical things. Thank you does not seem enough. That is why we have been finding every opportunity to give back to the foundation with our gratitude, our support, and advocating for this foundation. Thank you for partnering with us and joining Hadley's village. I love it that she will grow up being able to meet and know her earthly angels. We are so blessed that God allowed us to find Be an Angel Foundation. #HopeforHadley

Be blessed,

We absolutely love working with BAA to improve life experiences for all special needs students. They have provided Christmas gifts for our students at my previous campus as well as providing barrier free playground equipment for the campus. Additionally, BAA has provided needed specialized equipment for medically fragile students when insurance falls short. In my current district, BAA has continued to provide Christmas gifts for students and their families. I cannot say enough about how amazing this organization is!

I was a volunteer at the Be An Angel event, Purses & Prosecca. I was amazed at how everything was put together for us to decorate tables. From the moment I arrived til the very last table decoration I retrieved the event was outstanding!

I work for Jo Kelly School, an all special needs campus dedicated to students with severe and profound cognitive and physical disabilities, who are also medically fragile. Our students range in ages from 3 to 21 years. Be Angel has played a huge role on our campus over the years, helping our students achieve success and enjoy life. I have been working directly with Be An Angel improving our sensory room, as they have provided much needed support for the project.

I am a coordinator for a Regional Day School of the Deaf in the Dallas area, Be An Angel has helped several of our students receive hearing aids and cochlear implants for when their families couldn't afford them. They are great with communication, and ensuring our students get what they need quickly. Thanks to this organization students all across Texas are receiving access to the spoken world as quickly as possible.

Thank you Be An Angel!!

Be An Angel is a unique nonprofit that helps special needs, medically fragile and hearing impaired children age birth to 22. Some of the services they provide include funding needed adaptive equipment, providing respite care, van conversions, building playgrounds, and other services. I have personally seen the difference BAA makes in the lives of children such as three children that we have helped in the Dallas Fort Worth area. We provided a wheelchair to a two year old with Sturge Weber, a van conversion to a young girl so her parents can get her around easier, and many hearing aids to various children. I can't tell you about all the smiles I have seen happen through the work of BAA. Be An Angel has been around in the Houston area changing the lives of children there for over thirty years. In 2022, BAA opened it's first chapter in North Texas. All of these smiles you see in the attached pictures are children around the Dallas and Fort Worth area who have received services.

I have been a member of the Be and Angel Board for the last several years. I have been involved with many boards and non-profit organizations over the years, but this is one that is truly special. I encourage everyone to look at the work this group does on behalf of children, and more importantly the people who support this organization, as it is first class. Please consider getting involved, it will make a difference in a child’s life. Dan Huberty, State Representative of Texas - District 127

This unique organization is like no other.... results for the children served are immediate. No child should be denied the opportunity to experience life at their fullest potential. Be An Angel is a caring, committed and compassionate support system that not only identifies the needs of special needs children but fulfills them by providing adaptive equipment, special services and programs. An excellent organization!
