Programs: Wioa adult programs-prepare adults for entry into the labor force and to afford job training/education to those economically dis- advantaged, physically or mentally challenged/disabled and in need of obtaining employment. In program year 2016-2017, assisted and continue to assist more than 285 clients.
wioa dislocated worker program-training programs and advanced educational opportunities that assist clients receiving/eligible to receive unemployment benefits for re-entry into the labor force. Assistance through educational courses, relocation services, referral services, in 2016-2017 program year, assist/continue to assist 123 clients with 31 placed in unsubsidized employment.
woia youth in school/out of school programs provide services to prepare youth for entry into the workforce or advance to post-secondary education for other occupational training. Prepare out of school youth to obtain their ged and provide them with mentoring counseling services.
