Mission: Bay Area Habitat for Humanity partners with local families in need to build safe, affordable homes that they can call their own. Through shelter, we empower people to build better futures for themselves and their families by completing financial literacy trainings, building homes alongside volunteers, and purchasing their homes with an affordable, no-interest mortgage.
Results: Over 170 families served since Bay Area Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1991.

Programs: eliminating substandard housing through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
