We've been taking our son Dash to this museum for years (well, he's only 4 but you get the idea). It's a super fun day of discovery and running around, and you can tell the staff really gets excited about being there and interacting with the little people.

We've also gone to a few of their auctions, typically parents at these events, of course, but there again it's a palpable enthusiasm for a really exciting and (gasp) educationally interactive museum.

Um, go discover it for yourself!

My daughter and I go to the museum very often. BADM happens to be our favorite place!! All of the people who work there are super friendly and smiley. We decided to make the journey down to the museum today even though it was raining and spent more time there today than we do when its sunny! My daughter's third birthday was yesterday and we make a special trip for her day and we had a blast. I love everything about BADM. I refer all my friends and family. BADM is Marin Counties gem.

We visit the Bay Area Discovery Museum every couple of months, generally taking advantage of their monthly free day. My very active three-year-old LOVES going to "the museum." He enjoys tot-spot, the "train room," and all of the outdoor activities. I'm always so impressed by the staff and the rotating exhibits. It's always one of the first places I recommend to other parents looking for things to do with their youngsters. The only problem is my son now believes that all museums should be just like this.

My children love the Museum. My son is crazy about the "train room" and always wants to start our visit there. My daughter can also play in the "train" room -- but she really prefers the boat and fish that are in the same room. It works great for me because I can have two happy kids in the same room. They both love the outdoor "Lookout Cove" area as well. What I find most compelling about the Museum is that my children are never bored and always find new ways to experience the Museum exhibits. It is a beautiful location too!
