Battle Forge Nation is a wonderful organization that helps and supports veterans in serious need. 22 veterans commits suicide everyday. BFN is trying to bring this number down to 0. This organization has representatives all over the country to help veterans in need. They go above and beyond to contact the veteran and get them the help that they need.
Over a year ago, I had a veteran friend contact me asking for help with one of his veteran friends about 8 states away. He said he called me because “I knew who would be able to help”. I had been a passive member of BattleForged Nation for a year, but contacted the org for help. Within 6 hours, the veteran was safe with medical professionals because of BFN. Fast forward a year, and I now volunteer to assist BFN in helping others!
Great organization. The services and help provided is unparalleled, always making sure that individuals don't slip through the cracks.
Battleforged Nation is one of the best volunteer groups I have found that focuses on preventing veteran suicide. They have great resources that arent just a list of numbers that have changed since published. The volunteers have actually gone through things and can find you someone that you can relate with to talk about your issues. The state pages can get you connected with old friends and new ones like a digital formation that you can bever be late for.
Since becoming a member of BFN in March 2018, I have been a part of helping many Veterans. Most importantly to help talk many back off of the ledge of suicide. They felt that nobody cared, nobody would miss them, that they would only be ending their suffering.
When in fact, so many care, they would be terribly missed, and their suffering would pass on to their loved ones..
I am not a combat veteran, but I still want to help my brothers and sisters fight their war after the war. Bring them peace and help them down the right path.
BFN has given me an incredible opportunity to help and I appreciate everything they do for our brothers and sisters.
Being part of this organization not only reminds me that I'm not alone, but also gives me the opportunity to give back to my fellow Veterans. Continuing to give back to those who have selflessly served our country is not only a pleasure but an honor. Thank you, Battle Forged Nation for all you do for others!

BattleForged Nation is the first NPO I have ever done work for. Their goal is to help end the 22 a day, which they actually realize is more than that when you take in to consideration of Active Duty and others. The care that all of the Veterans and others that are involved with this organization is amazing. These men and women put in countless hours of their time to help those in need. I know, because I am one of them. My brothers and sisters in need, need our help, and we want to be there for them 24 hours a day. I'm very proud to say that I am a part of this organization who continues to fight for our brothers and sisters in arms.
I have been with them for about a year. They are a caring group of Veterans trying to bring the number of Veterans suicide to zero.
The leader is an amazing man, leader, and Veteran. He is tireless in the mission.

This organization has helped thousands of Veterans across the country and world. A group of dedicated volunteers that put boots on the ground. They have a full list of resources, so that even if they can’t help you, they can point you in the right direction.
This is why I support this group, 100% all Volunteer , this is why I do it, it’s not me, it’s the fact I work side by side with some of the bravest, honorable, loyal men and women who ever raised their right hands, even as they have retired or got out they still serve, they are still there to protect the brothers and sisters! To date BattleForged Nation has helped 1,012 brothers and sisters, but last month alone we lost 345 brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, why?
In 2018: A total of 321 active-duty members took their lives during the year, including 57 Marines, 68 sailors, 58 airmen, and 138 soldiers.
In 2019: Jan 39 soldiers, feb 35 soldiers, March 42 soldiers.
Looks a lot more then 22 a day, and now add veterans to the mix!? It’s time we talk about real numbers!
