Mission: The foundation's primary goal is to provide therapeutic services and family resources, assistance and information for hearing impaired children about to receive or having received a cochlear implant.
Programs: In 2009, the organization worked with the university of miami to move forward and commit to building a family resource center. A grant was made to the university to dedicate a conference room where meetings for cochlear implanted children and their families can meet with staff, as well as providing an area for the cochlear implant team to meet and exchange ideas. The resource center was opened in 2010 and is providing services to families of hearing impaired children. The resource center operates to create a seamless process for families once they have a diagnosed deaf child and wish to bring them into the hearing world with cochlear implant technology and auditory verbal therapy. It acts as a the hub of these families, a place where they can go for counseling, guidance, avt therapy, and mentoring programs in a safe nurturing environment.
