Mission: Barrett hospital & healthcare provides compassionate care, healing, and health-improving service to all community members throughout life's journey.
Programs: The public hospital district of beaverhead county's board of trustees approved the transition of operations of the hospital from the public hospital district of beaverhead county to barrett hospital development corporation effective july 1, 2016. Barrett hospital & healthcare is a 18 licensed bed acute care critical access hospital. Our patients are served by an inpatient hospital, 24-hour emergency department, and a provider based clinic. Our ancillary services include diagnostic imaging, laboratory, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical and occupational therapy, home health, hospice, cardiac rehab, pharmacy, cardiopulmonary, respiratory, and diabetic education. The hospital provided 1,860 days of acute care services, 247 observation days, and 445 swing bed days. In addition, the hospital provided 25,088 clinic visits, 21,386 outpatient visits, 4,674 emergency room visits, 3,127 home health visits, and 1,696 hospice visits.
