Mission: Our Land trust is a private nonprofit tax exempt organization. Through which we as citizens can preserve the natural resources of our town. Open space does not just mean fields and farms. The Barkhamsted Land Trust is also interested in wetland, fragile habitats, cultural sites, historic areas, vistas and ridgelines as well as forests and fields.
