Mission: The baltimore arts realty corporation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation, established in the state of maryland, for the purposes of acquiring, developing, managing and leasing real estate to serve artists and small arts organizations in the city of baltimore with an emphasis on operating in areas of the city that are economically marginal or commercially undervalued at the time of the acquisition and development of property in that area.
Programs: During 2013, the organization purchased two (2) properties for future use in achieving their mission to lease space to baltimore artists, artisans and arts organizations at annual rents significantly below comparable commercial rates. Currently, the buildings are substantially complete and are being used. The buildings are expected to be fully utilized for their intended use during 2016 and 2017. Placed in service.
