Mission: Rural rwandan development via global market links. We participate in the efforts of rural rwandans to develop themselves, their families & their communities. Our primary work is in supporting craftspeople. We offer guidance on product design & selection and purchase their crafts at a fair price. Then in the us, products are marketed and sold so that we can continue to provide new income generation opportunities to the rwandan artisans and support other community development initiatives such as adult literacy. Market connections are another part of our work. We connect global customers who then buy crafts in bulk directly from rwanda. This is pursued by participation in the fairtrade association and by using social media. We also make customer connections for the rwandan community based educational tourism project.
