Mission: A. W. A. R. E. , inc. , a private, non-profit corporation, provides quality community-based services to persons with challenging mental, emotional, and in some cases, physical needs who would otherwise be served in a more restrictive setting, or perhaps would not be served at all. We work to ensure that the people we serve achieve maximum independence, productivity, and integration into the community.

Programs: Dphhs/dd division - group work/day day activity programs provider for 81 individuals; individualized living, group living and personal services supported living, caregiver training & support, community home including medically intensive and childrens, adult companion and respite provider for 165 individuals.

therapeutic group homes served 159 dd/sed adolescents in 6 montana counties; home support services served approx 478 individuals; psychiatric care for 1028 individuals; school-based and day treatment programs serving 669 youths; community based psychiatric rehab & support for 503 consumers; 13 outpatient mental health locations providing service to 1234 individuals; adult mental health group homes in 3 counties serving approximately 20 individuals.
