Mission: Aware awake alive seeks to equip youth and their communities with the tools and confidence to prevent lives lost to alcohol poisoning.
Programs: The mission of aware awake alive is to equip youth and their communities with the tools and confidence to prevent lives lost to alcohol poisoning. One way we addressed this goal in 2013 was to enhance the online college toolbox. By the end of 2013, close to 100 college and high school campuses were using aware awake alive resources. In addition, chancellor timothy white of the california state university (csu) system announced that in 2014, all csu campuses would incorporate aware awake alive resources into their alcohol awareness programming. As a result of an alarming statistic showing that 1 in 4 high school students are binge drinking, work began on the design of an online high school toolbox which will debut in the fall of 2014.
