Mission: The Avian Wildlife Center’s mission is to promote the conservation of native birds, provide a service to the community by providing information and educational programs on wildlife and offering assistance for problems with wild birds, and support research to better understand birds and their interaction with our environment.
Results: The Center answers calls 365 days a year from the public, police, businesses, government agencies, and others regarding wildlife. We provide rescue and rehabilitation services for all species of wild birds that are found injured and in need of care with the goal of returning them healthy to the wild. To reduce conflicts with wildlife and people, we answer questions and offer advice on resolving problems. Our goal is to increase awareness of and appreciation for the value of wildlife. In turn, people and wildlife will benefit.
