Mission: Avera is a health ministry rooted in the gospel. Our mission is to make a positive impact in the lives and health of persons and communities by providing quality services guided by christian values.
Programs: Avera st. Mary's is listed in the official catholic directory. It is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization operated as a ministry of the catholic church. Avera st. Mary's is affiliated with avera health. The hospital serves all persons in the community on a non-discriminatory basis. Avera st. Mary's operates an emergency room that is open to all persons regardless of ability to pay. Avera st. Mary's has an open medical staff with privileges available to all qualified physicians in the area.
