Mission: The organization operates exclusively for the benefit of, to perform the functions of and/or to carry out the purposes of the big oak ranch (a publicly supported organization exempt from income taxation under section 509(a)(2) of the internal revenue code). The organization provides assistance to the children of the big oak ranch by helping to provide for their material needs.
Programs: Boutique and outfitters: store that provides a fun shopping experience for the girls (boutique) and boys (outfitters) of the big oak ranch. Points can be earned during the month for academics and character and spent at these stores.
big 12 sponsorships: the organization was able to raise donor designated contributions of $12,000 each which will support one child at the ranch for one year.
gifts program: goods are provided to the house mothers and children during holidays (birthdays, christmas and easter). Each graduating high school senior is also provided with a computer and equipment for transition out of the program.
