women on board - created in 2000, women on board is a training program that advances the inclusion of women as leaders by training them in nonprofit board governance and then connecting them with nonprofit boards. Since its inception, the program has trained over 3,091 women in board governance and leadership skills and connected hundreds of these women with nonprofit boards. Women on board was designed to increase the participation and diversity of women serving on nonprofit boards in metro atlanta.
