Mission: Astoria sunday market is formed for the purpose of contributing to the revitalization of downtown astoria, improving the economic visability and vitality of farmers, artists, artisans, and other small business operators in the pacific northwest, with special focus on those in the lower columbia river basin, and creating a vibrant, educational marketplace for the community benefit.
Programs: Asm is providing space for booths to various vendors with crafts, art work, produce, and prepared foods. A stage with local entertainment is also provided to aid with the revitalization of downtown astoria.
asm contributes to the city of astoria and local 501(c)(3) organizations for community development projects.
astoria sunday market recruits vendors at the port of astoria creating a festive,informative and welcoming presence for the passengersarriving by cruise ships.
young entrepreneurs club & market biz kidz was created to encourage young people to become entrepreneurs. Astoria sunday market partners with clatsop county 4-h to provide a program that gives kids an opportunity to grow, create,invent or make something to sell at the market. This program features a series of workshops that culminate in participants bringing product to the market place in a specially created biz kidz bazaar tent.
