Mission: The foundation shall have as its purpose the furtherance of the mission of the association of va surgeons to promote excellence in research among va surgeons and their trainees. It will strive to accomplish this goal by providing financial assistance in the form of grants and prizes to qualified va or va-affiliated applicants and funding of appropriate education forums.
