Mission: The association of fundraising professionals, genesee valley chapter (afpgv) advances philanthropy through professional education, building relationships, peer mentoring, and effective advocacy. Afpgv is grounded in a code of ethics, standards of professional practice, and committed volunteerism to promote the field of fundraising. Afpgv stimulates ethical and successful nonprofit development by addressing the needs of diverse fundraising executives in our region.
Programs: The afp genesee valley chapter is a volunteer-based organization representing more than 250 fundraising professionals including advancing the charitable and educational activities of the fund-raising professionals and educating the public regarding the advantages of retaining qualified staff for fund-raising and development.
