Mission: Our mission is to be "the source for developing instructional leadership and translating research into daily practice. " we are a responsive network of educational leaders that strives to serve as the first choice to influence educational policy and practices in iowa. Significant activities include a twice a month digital newsletter, conferences (i. E. , curriculum leadership academy, fall institute)
Programs: The organizations strategic goal is to enable all iowa educators to clearly focus upon the needs of students by providing programming which serves the needs among members and potential members who are educators in iowa. Services were provided to 1100-1250 members over the year, including a digital newsletter twice a month (except july), access to 30 books online, discounted conferences and a website for learning.
curriculum leadership academy - a two day academy was provided to 170 educators who increased their knowledge and skills in personalized learing with national presenter allison zmuda and districts from across the state.
fall academy - a one day academy was provided to 132 educators who incresed thier knowledge and skills to address behaviorally challenged students with the national presenter dr. Ross greene.
