Causes: Job Training, Sheltered Employment
Mission: Conducts work programs for people with mental illness and the developmentally disabled in the community and sheltered workshop settings.
Programs: Undertake public education activities to better acquaint people with the treatment services available, the value of early recognition and treatment, and such information as may contribute to the prevention or reduction of people with mental illness or developmental disabilities. This is done by creating services needed by people with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities including those in halfway houses, nursing homes, etc. The services include sheltered workshops and industrial work programs along with permanent training and educational facilities. Over 125 individuals received services in fiscal year ended june 30, 2014.
