The Asperger Expert is a not for profit organization in the metro Atlanta area which writes scholarships to cover various needs for adults on the spectrum. Such examples entail paying for a psychological evaluation. I had attempted to use them to pay for an evaluation last year, expecting that they would have the money. What a joke that was, they were only able to pay for my intake interview. All the while, they provided a lack of communication to both myself and the psychologist providing this EXPENSIVE evaluation. Thus, I got stuck with the payment since the money wasn't available.

Furher-on, the director of this organization was egocentric, lazy, and appeared to be irresponsible. When I confronted her about my needs, I got a very rude and unprofessional response where she wanted to blame the victim while playing the sympathy card with me with excuses.
1. She and her daughter were going through some things and had no time to communicate
2. They did the best that they could to fit everyone else's needs
3. Since 2008, not for profits were losing money
4. Free services were becoming costly
5. She worked at a not for profit where people got laid off
6. That I seem to assume everything bad happening to me because I have a "Disability."
7. That I can't always get my way
8. She and most of the other members on the board of this organization had full-time jobs and didn't have time for "The Asperger's Spirit."

Don't get involved with this organization because these people are unreliable, irresponsible, unprofessional, lazy and appear to make excuses for their behavior by blaming you. If you have to, go to bigger organizations where people are responsible and the people are going to communicate effectively and not give you jargon.
