Causes: Human Services, Young Mens or Womens Associations
Mission: Asian women's christian association is centered on the love of christ, and through our work we provide asian women and their families the resources to become healthy, contributing members of society. We accomplish this through our counseling, education, social services, and homecare program.
Programs: Family counseling center program: this program provides culturally appropriate counseling services to support asian families' psychological, mental and emotional well-being through counseling, family therapy, and hotline.
senior center program: this program provides seniors with a wealth of educational, cultural, and health programs including english classes, a u. S. Citizenship class, a senior chorus, cultural and health education, and exercise.
social service program: social service is a free program that provides information and assistant about social service and benefits within the united states, and provides counseling to those who need assistance in procuring these services and benefits according to their individual circumstance.
angel & youth program: this program provides a unique learning environment designed exclusively for korean adoptees and their families through series of semester courses focusing on topics ranging from basic conversation to broad knowledge of korean culture and history. Community activity program: awca provides services, resources, and information to the community through donations, fundraising, workshops and continuing education, especially during times of distress or disaster that puts the community in great need.
