Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs
Mission: AASuccess empowers children and young adults to achieve their true potential, while cultivating future leaders to spread ethical and humanitarian values in our communities.
Results: We started as a small family of 20 students. More than 50% of them are: -- a mentor to the next wave of students, continuing the giving back cycle. -- involve in community leadership at their local community and/or at work -- become an entrepreneur and follow their passion to provide services as well as to giving back through philanthropy commitment -- provide direct services to more than 1,500 families in DC Metropolitan area with essential needs including education, retirement, job seeking, health care applications, family issues, and more

Direct beneficiaries per year: 40+ students and more than 1000 Asian American families who lives in/near DC Metropolitan area.
Geographic areas served: Fairfax County
Programs: Every interaction we have with our students is geared towards ensuring their continuing growth in both academic work and their pursuit of new interest and ideas. With our goal of connecting students to life skills, live projects relevant to their soft and technical skills-related goals, and initiatives that add meaning to their AASuccess experience, we approach the concept of success from a holistic perspective. • To develop, educate and mentor our students through their involvement with community-based programs that foster ethical, intellectual and social development • To create a self-sustainable learning environment between professional mentors, coaches and students based on mutual trust and respect • To empower our students to become future leaders, responsible citizens, and agents for positive change
