Mission: Public access to prof. Arts & multicultural programs
Programs: Adult musical performances in 2014 we brought back our popular guitar magic series. In the spring we returned to temple beth torah in nyack with the international accapella group kitka. In december, we brought a whole new experience to our audience with the swingtime big band to usher the holidays.
children's musical & theatrical performances we started our kids series with our first ever puppet festival to a standing room crowd. Artsrock continued its distributes of tickets to the economically disadvantaged in rockland county for our fall presentation of a live dance/music event "walk to the beat junior". With the help of area preschools and the local head start program, we distributed over 100 tickets (1200 value. ) these ticketts were offered to familes of those awarded subsidies for chilcares. Also back, for the fith time was "the bossy frog band" for their annual holiday week performance.
celebrity interviews our conversation series has brought film/stage stars as tonys roberts and michael mckean to talk with rocklanders in an intimate setting. Artsrock also brought in our first theatrical presentation, a moving one-woman show called, "the purpose project". We were able to greet new audiences in 2 sold out shows of this off-broadway show at the elmwood playhouse in nyack.
