I live remote to my disabled sister so it is difficult to provide the support she needs to pay bills. ACT has been managing my sister's trust for over 5 years. Carin Conner and Sherry Moore have been dependable life lines for my sister's financial needs. They are extremely responsive and always willing to go "the extra mile" to ensure my sister's debts are resolved. I can't thank them enough for always being there for my sister and I. They have made a difficult path much smoother. Thank You!
What a nightmare. As if the accident that was settled wasn’t nightmarish enough, it is impossible to rely on this company to disperse money as requested. Suffice it to say that most requests are ignored, and I would never suggest that potential or existing clients rely upon ACT to make timely payment for credit cards or anything that has a due date.
Sadly my credit report has taken several hits due to the refusal or inability of the trust administrators to honor their requests and the “commitment” they have to the clients.
Caveat emptor.
This agency was recommended to me by my attorney handling a special education dispute with my grandson's school. I thought it would be better to have monies put in a trust fund than to haggle with the school directly for the next few years. I have had nothing but problems from the very beginning. first problem was with their fees, I was quoted one fee and they did the switcharoo once the case was settled and funds were to be disbursed. Now I have an issue to their interpretation of the terms of trust and they have no appeal process or nothing in place if you disagree with their denial of services... I dont know if all agencies are like this but I do not believe their interest lies in the protection and benefit of the beneficiary.
